Drew’s solo show, Catcher Suites, based on Catcher in the Rye, recently premiered at Peregrine Theatre Ensemble, where he played the role of Holden Caulfield. Many thanks to his family, friends, and Steve at 44 West!

ELIZA OHMAN She/Her (Featured Performer) 

 

Eliza most recently toured the globe with Hamilton. After making her Broadway debut with Hamilton in 2016, it was an honor to share the story with audiences in Manila, Abu Dhabi and Singapore. Career faves include screaming, crying and swinging 25ft in the air in the OBC of King Kong, yelling, cursing and crying as Danny in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea and performing on various television series where she neither screamed nor cried (yet). She was part of the 2022 Met Gala, is the US Associate Choreographer for SIX, and represented by CTG.

JARYD FARCON He/Him (Featured Performer)

 

Jaryd Farcon is a graduate of Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and the Ailey/Fordham BFA dance program. He is a competitive ballroom dancer, and has danced on Season 6 of ABC's Dancing With The Stars, Season 14 of FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, ABC’s Good Morning America, and NBC’s Today Show. He has worked with Julie Taymor in A Midsummer Night's Dream at A Theater For A New Audience. Jaryd is a 2016 National YoungArts Foundation Winner in (Dance/Jazz) where he had the opportunity to work with Mikhail Baryshnikov.  Furthermore, Jaryd has choreographed for the Steps Conservatory and for singer LaLa in her new music video “Love Letters From My Ex”. He has danced with Ailey II, Ballet Hispánico’s second company, BHdos and Alison Cook Beatty Dance Company.

VALENTINA GUEDEZ DELGADO She/Her (Performer) 

 

Valentina is a New York City based performing artist. Born and raised in Táchira, Venezuela, she immigrated to the United States in 2013 where she started dancing her sophomore year of high school. She continued her dance training in Dance Town Miami and Showstoppers Miami before getting her Associate of Arts in Dance from Miami Dade College under the training of Michelle Grant Murray. 

Valentina has participated in various performing opportunities such as; Premios Tu Mundo, Anthology 33, JCE Jazz Dance Project, “Night Of Life” by Rachel Leigh Dolan, “Only the Best” by Katie Drablos, “20 Something” by Betty Weinberger, “Sybarite” by Carlos Falú, and more.

MATTIE WALKER She/Her (Performer/Dance Captain) 

 

Mattie is a recent graduate from Oklahoma City University. During her time at OCU, she the choreographer and student director for the Spirt of Grace Liturgical Dancers. Additionally, Mattie was the choreographer for a student run production, Project 21, and set her own piece in the Student Choreography Show. 

Mattie met Cam Loeser in the summer of 2023, where she began her training and deep love for Cole. She had the honor of performing in the Chet Walker tribute at STEPS on Broadway and the CLUB ACT this past summer. She wants to thank her family and friends for their endless love and support, as well as Cam for his constant trust and encouragement.

TANYA CHAUHAN She/Her (Apprentice)

 

Tanya Chauhan was born and raised in Delhi, India, where he started dancing intensively at the age of 15 after she was selected for the Indian adaptation of Annie - The Musical. She was a company member in a Delhi-based Jazz Company for 6 years, and upon leaving, received a scholarship at Mumbai’s prestigious dance school - the Institute of Classical and Modern Dance founded by Pia Sutaria. Tanya has also trained under the guidance of Ritika Chandra, the founder of Elan Ballet, whom she now considers her mentor.

 

In 2021, Tanya moved to New York to live her dream and pursue dance further. She completed a 3-year International Independent Study Program at Steps on Broadway, New York. She is now dancing for Ajna Dance Company and Guilty Pleasures Cabaret. She has also been cast in ensemble/dancer roles for "Finding Home," an Indian musical directed by Amit Shah, the director, and founder of Aatma Performing Arts.

Ash Hudak is a recent graduate of the Steps On Broadway Conservatory, and spent the past two summers training with the Verdon Fosse Legacy Professional Training Program. They are so honored to be a part of this truly fantastic group of artists!

 

They’d like to thank Cam and Evy for being incredible teachers & wonderful, supportive humans - it is a gift to know them.

Thomas Ruhala is a native of East Lansing, Michigan.

 

Having moved to the city a year ago, he is grateful and honored to call himself an apprentice member of The NEW Jack Cole Dancers.

JADE MCLEOD They/Them (Featured Vocalist)

 

Most known for their recent, critically acclaimed run as Jo in the Broadway Touring Company of Jagged Little Pill, Jade McLeod is a non-binary artist from Toronto, Canada. A graduate of O’Neill CVI’s Performing Arts program as a instrumental music major, they paid for their college education in Music Theatre by gigging as a jazz singer in local bars they were too young to be in, as well as playing trumpet in church (they turned out to be much better at the first thing).

 

They are very excited to be returning to the roots of their musical education in this concert.

CHRISTIAN BURSE She/Her (Guest Soloist)

 

Christian Burse was born in Austin, Texas where she began her dance journey at the age of two years old. She completed her early dance training at Joyce Willet and RISE Dance Company where she received a diverse dance education. She continued her dance training at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, Texas and Dance Industry Performing Arts Center.  She was named a U.S. Presidential Scholar Finalist, National YoungArts Foundation winner and a Texas Young Master. Christian was offered an apprentice position with her dream professional dance company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet. She relocated to New York to train and travel the world with the company all while completing her senior year of high-school at 17 years old. Christian was offered a spot at the Juilliard School to continue her training after high school. However, Christian decided to continue her professional career at 18 years old as a company member of Complexions Contemporary Ballet. To date she has performed across the U.S. and internationally in Israel, Germany and Europe.

KYLE SCHWEIZER He/Him (Horns/Music Director/Orchestrator)

Kyle Schweizer is a Bronx- born saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist, being also skilled at clarinet, flute, piano, guitar, voice and percussion. He honed his craft at Fiorella H. LaGuardia High School and New School University.

He is a dynamic performer and stage presence who has played with bands such as Ambrosia, John Ford Coley, Brother Josephus, Yacht Lobsters, Angela Workman, and Mike Ogletree of Simple Minds. He also is a gifted songwriter and arranger having written many originals and song re-imaginings for the six piece swing big band Double Down. He has also appeared on the shows/movies Vinyl, The Only Living Boy in New York and Delivering the Goods.

He performs with an infectious energy and enthusiasm and is always ready to engage with the audience.

DOUG HINRICHS He/Him (Percussion)

Doug Hinrichs is a percussionist and composer based in New York City. He performs and records with countless artists in the New York City area and beyond and has several Broadway show credits to his name. Doug is perhaps best-known for his work in the musical “In The Heights,” for which he played drums and percussion during the show’s developmental years, and held the percussion chair for its full run on Broadway.

 

Doug's percussion tracks have been on jingles for ESPN, PowerAde, The New York Knicks, and Miller Lite Beer. His credits as a composer include placements of his pieces on the Bravo, USA, CBS, and ABC television networks. He also remains very active in the theater scene, subbing on percussion and drums in Broadway shows. Performance highlights include playing percussion for Bobby McFerrin at Jazz At Lincoln Center, and for Barry Manilow at his Las Vegas residency concerts.

 

A specialist in ethnic percussion (Doug studied in Brazil, the island of Guadeloupe, and Trinidad & Tobago), Doug also performs often on drum set, mallet and orchestra percussion, and steel pan. He is the inventor of the One-Handed Triangle, which is manufactured and sold worldwide by LP (Latin Percussion). He is an LP, Sabian, and Remo endorser.

PABLO ELUCHANS He/Him (Drums)

Pablo Eluchans was born and raised in Santiago, Chile and graduated from Berklee College of Music -specializing in jazz drumming- in 2009. Pablo has lived in New York City since 2011 and works as a freelance musician; performing, recording, and teaching. 

He has toured all over the USA, South and North America, The Caribbean, Europe and Asia playing with various projects in a wide range of musical styles. His recording credits (playing drums and percussion) include 100+ albums as a sideman, leader and/or co-leader, DVDs, film scores, TV and radio jingles.

 

Founding partner, and former house drummer at Pinch Recording, a studio opened in 2016 in Long Island City, NY. Very active in NYC’s modern dance scene, working regularly as an accompanist at The Alvin School, Martha Graham School, Marymount Manhattan College and more. Pablo released his first solo album “Body Language (todo lo que es)” on January 31st 2021, a solo drum set improvisation album.

SEIKO AKITA She/Her (Piano)

Born in Osaka Japan, Seiko has toured as an organist in Japan, Taiwan, Indonesia and Hong Kong. Since moving to the United States in 2001, she has established herself as one of the highest caliber jazz and world music composers and educators. She was taught piano from Jazz legend Ronnie Mathews, and played with Reggie Workman, Lonnie Plaxico, Ron Jackson, and Paul Gill. She had been music director and arranger of “Bye Bye birdie” at  Washington Irving High School, and has played as rehearsal pianist for Liza Minnelli. She has also worked as an accompanist in National Dance Institute, Jose Limon LLC, and has worked at Peridance and Broadway Dance Center.
